With a number of organizations advocating today for policy change to drive more renewable energy in Michigan, there is no one entity in a leadership posiiton to consolidate these efforts. As an alliance of employers, taxpayers, and community anchors, however, Midwest Integrated Suppliers for Renewable Energy seeks to become the unifying voice and gain access more readily to elected officials to make a business case for policy change.Our overall mission is to develop business opportunity in the alternative energy industry for Michigan's manufacturers and service providers. And our initial objective is to spearhead passage of a CLEAN (Clean Local Energy Accessible Now) energy policy incorporating local content on behalf of Michigan manufacturers and providers pursuing business opportunity in the alternative energy sector.
