The new owner at the Bistro for 2013, Michael Lavelle, host and producer of Canada's environmentally focused series, Going Green for Green, has been working hard with chef Charlie Daye, using locally grown and raised produce, beef, lamb, chicken, cheeses and wines, while continuing the theme of cooking small scale, locally sourced food and letting the menu reflect the changing seasons.\\Milford is a quiet and cute little hamlet with historical houses looking out over the peaceful waters of the Mill pond. Besides the acclaimed Milford Bistro there is a wonderful theatre, Mount Tabor Playhouse, stages professional plays and musical performances throughout the year. Close by, you'll find the Black River Cheese Company, Vicki's Veggies and art galleries and close to North America`s most important dive site with over 50 shipwrecks.
