Mobex North East is a charity formed in 1991 to support vulnerable and disadvantaged people living in the North East region of England.We use outdoor adventure and outdoor arts activities to engage people and support them to develop coping mechanisms, raise their self esteem, develop communication and team work skills, understand and work towards developing their potential and aspirations, develop problem solving skills, develop leadership skills.We work with a vast range of organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors.We deliver constructive and positive activities to offenders and those at risk of offending.We design and deliver programmes for people with disabilities including those with learning needs or mental health issues.We design and deliver programmes to support people who are unemployed to develop strategies to take them out of unemployment.We design and deliver staff training days - focussing on team work and leadership skills.
