The Epistrap is a wearable device that monitors fits and sends the data to a central repository. The information is intelligently collated with other information like diet and medication change turning the information into medical intelligence. The neurologist will be able to monitor patients remotely as well as set up alerts. An example of an alert could be if the patients medication is changed and there is no reduction in the patients fits then the system will let the neurologist know, so that they can make adjustments to the medication. This means smarter and better informed decisions resulting in more effective treatment. Most medication is designed around European genealogy so, medication that works for a European may not work for example for an African. Collecting this information is going to allow us to accurately see which medication is working, when it is working, on whom it is working and even where it is working. This will make have a huge impact on treatment and care
