The Mountaineers Foundation is dedicated to passing the best possible environmental legacy to ensuing generations. Our 460+ acre Rhododendron Preserve on the Kitsap peninsula includes 60+ acres of old growth forest and provides protection for some of the most critical salmon habitat in the Puget Sound lowlands. In addition to the Preserve, we provide funding to other conservation groups committed to responsible stewardship and active enjoyment of the beauty and diversity of natural resources.
