The company celebrated their first season with Pinocchio!, based on the book by Carlo Collodi. The show premiered at the Zenith Theatre 2018 before touring South Coast NSW.The future is looking bright for Musgrove Opera, and they have exciting new projects in the works.George Musgrove (1854-1916) is a relatively unknown figure in the operatic world today, and yet he contributed so much to the foundation of the arts in Australia. With all the international success he enjoyed, he never seemed to forget his homeland, touring regional Australia relentlessly."There was a time when the name Musgrove was synonymous with entertainment in Australia. In the early years of the 20th century there were no less than eight Musgroves in the entertainment business; now there are none."- Live Performance Australia Hall of Fame Lachlan Massey, artistic director
