Muskoka North Film Studios Inc. opened on May 6, 2013 in the south end of Parry Sound District, just a 2 hour drive from Toronto. The studio is owned and operated by three film veterans: Wendy L. Morrow (DGC production Designer) and international filmmakers Brian Jagersky (Actra Stunt Co-ordinator) and Ted Ross (IATSE Special Effects Co-ordinator). The three owners' combined filmmaking experience is the cornerstone of their operation. Their understanding of the production process is unparalleled in the region and makes any project at Muskoka North Film Studios a joy to plan and execute. The facility includes an 8,000 square foot sound stage, a front office complex, metal shop, construction & paint shop, props / set dec / wardrobe areas, and craft kitchen.
