I created a site as a way to hold myself accountable so that I will not back down and I will continue to live a healthy life and keep toning up. I also hope to inspire others to do something positive with regards to their health. I wanted a place to express my own opinion on eating and exercise. One does not need to hire a personal trainer or join a gym in order to get healthy and fit. I also found that you really do not need to be a runner in order to lose weight. WALKING is my main form of cardio. Walking is easier on my joints and easier on my back since I have scoliosis. I can not do those fast paced aerobic dance videos. Tried several and got frustrated then quit and went back to my walking DVDs and have added a few other workout DVDs to my collection that I can easily do without getting lost or frustrated. These are awesome if you are wanting to hit your goal a bit quicker or if you have hit a plateau. I was stuck and started doing both and BAM got past my stuck weight. I can honestly say it is an amazing feeling to have others tell me almost daily how much my posts mean to them or how inspiring I am. THAT brings a smile upon my face.
