New Freedom Party Organization, Incorporated is a nonprofit organization, established in December 2016 in the Town of Matthews, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. The primary goal of New Freedom is to provide political awareness and education through the use of entertainment, commonly known as "edutainment" in local communities. Programs and services will be utilized for three purposes: 1) increase political knowledge, skills and abilities of the general population; 2) increase voter registration; and 3) increase employment of individuals that are historically marginalized and living in disenfranchised communities. Political Awareness and Voter Registration New Freedom is dedicated to proactively reaching millions of current and next-generation citizens to explore, advocate and impact the knowledge of the population in current and new legislation introduced by government. New Freedom will actively engage citizens living, working and engaging in civic activities and groups in communities it serves. The organization will use entertainment as the vehicle to provide a unique experience for audiences. The live events will provide guest speakers, representatives from political parties, mock elections and a forum for participants to state their views on political issues. More importantly, the organization will work to register and educate new voters with a focus on the next-generation of youth. New Freedom business model is workforce development. The organization will look to impact high unemployment rates in many disenfranchised neighborhoods in local communities by hiring individuals to serve as political ambassadors, advocates, trainers and coordinators. Through its programs, individuals will have access to educational and occupational training that will provide the tools to enhance their quality of life.
