NMIS aims to help its members learn about the financial industry as it relates to investing. We do this by providing an outlet for students, alumni, and various guest speakers within the industry to share ideas, collaborate, and network.NMIS is a great club/extracurricular activity to put on the resume because it demonstrates collaboration, relationship building, and a passion for the industry. All of which are vital for potential job prospects.We offer a hands-on stock market simulation for our participating members to gain experience in trading as well as a chance to be awarded a Scholarship at the end of the semester.The Scholarship is awarded to the top 3 performers at the end of the semester
