E-learning - Santa Cruz, California, United States
At our Pathways Dojo headquarters at the foot of the Santa Cruz Mountains in California by the sea, one of our regular training routines after bowing in is to share gratitude. Whether you are training with us on the mats indoors at our dojo, out in the redwoods, or in your backyard with your kids in Sweden, we consider you part of our global tribe of ninjas, and we are thankful that you have taken the first steps down the pathway of our Ninjas in Nature, or "NiN" program. To understand Ninjas in Nature is as simple as tracking our laundry. Most dojos wear white gi uniforms that only get washed occasionally once they overwhelm the olfactory receptors in your brain. Watch a group of ninjas emerge from the forest after a training session with us and you will understand partly why we wear black uniforms. You will see leaves, sticks, and dirt (otherwise known as camouflage) clinging to us. On Monday mornings at our pre-dawn training in the dojo in town you will see the occasional proud smile on faces as leaves and sticks come tumbling down from our pant cuffs onto the mat as we stretch, dive, and roll- a reminder of our recent forest training. You can understand why we do our laundry more often.
