North Queensland Neuropsychology Service is a private neuropsychology practice providing assessment and treatment services throughout central and north Queensland.NQNS provides neuropsychological services for a broad spectrum of clients including children, adolescents, adults and older persons with known or suspected brain disorders. NQNS receives referrals from an extensive referral base including medical doctors, medical specialists, third party insurers, as well as medico legal colleagues. Referrals are also received for NDIS purposes. The purpose of assessments vary and include evaluation for dementia, IQ/ learning/ educational/ neurodevelopmental concerns, vocational input, monitoring of recovery post cerebral event, and decision-making capacity.At NQNS we are skilled in the provision of neuropsychological assessments and provides a host of interventions including cognitive rehabilitation, adjustment counselling, brain health education, clinical supervision and Neurofeedback therapy.
