Old Grange Graphics, Inc. was a manufacturer of art reproductions from 1976 until 1998.The company used a special mounting process in which posters are coated with a specific acrylic to capture the ink. The ink/acrylic film is separated from the paper and mounted onto canvas. Optionally the canvas pictures could be painted with brushstrokes to add texture or treated with chemicals to look aged. Also optionally pictures could be mounted onto stretcher bars and perhaps framed.Pictures were primarily sold via mail order catalog until 1991. In that year, the firm started offering its transfer service to publishers, artists, and shops who sent in their own prints instead of selecting catalog offerings.The company was acquired by H.A. DeNunzio Inc., a Somers, CT based wall decor manufacturer and purveyor in 1998.
