One Society Network Details
The One Society Network (OSN) is a research network established in 2021 with a focus on building Canada's capacity to understand and manage pandemic threats, inform public health measures and complement existing modelling initiatives. This Network brings together nearly 20 researchers with expertise in health, the environment, education, agriculture, transportation, marginalized communities and macroeconomics, from 8 universities across Canada. The primary goal of the OSN is to complement the important work being done by mathematicians and epidemiologists, working to understand the broad impacts of infectious diseases, like COVID-19, and related public health policies.
