Orchard Groundcare's roots are in the orchards of the West Country. For a decade we have managed thousands of the apple trees that produce the fruit for our great Somerset cider industry.Orchards not only gave us our name, they gave us our skills and our experience. An orchard consists of carefully tended rows of delicate plants – apple trees – just like the rows of panels in solar parks. We have specialist machinery to weave among the trees without damaging them and we know how to keep the ground weed free and well drained. Just like solar parks. We even graze our orchards with sheep – just like solar parks.An orchard processes sunshine into fruit, and a solar park processes sunshine into energy.
