OROGEN is a is a specialist geoscience consulting company focusing on the application of advanced structural geological methods and tectonic concepts in support of ore systems delineation, resource exploration and generative studies at prospect, district and metallogenic province scales. The consultancy, founded in 2002, has undertaken specialist structural investigations of mineral deposits and prospects across a wide range of commodities, mineral plays, and deposit types throughout Sub-Saharan Africa; including South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Gabon, Ghana, Liberia (Brazil and Antarctica). OROGEN's consultants combine a mature understanding of African crustal evolution, tectonic framework, geodynamics and metallogeny, with an ability to apply advanced structural geological methods, modelling and tectonic concepts in support of resource exploration and generative studies at prospect, district and metallogenic province scales Key focus areas of our field investigations and desktop evaluations include: • Detailed structural analysis, from metallogenic province to ore deposit scale, emphasizing 4D spatio-temporal controls on mineralization and ore genesis. • Detailed analysis of ore-related hydrothermal alteration to determine history of mineralization, fluid / wallrock interaction and fluid pathways. • Regional-scale geological mapping and modeling, with emphasis on placing mineralization within its geodynamic and metallogenic context.
