The founding fathers, Mr. Owen and Mr. Sullivan (O & S) started in 1997 with just 1 ½ tons of cabernet sauvignon that created 80 cases. OwnerIn 2014 Peggy Sullivan took over ownership of O•S Winery completing the generational transition of this family-owned business. She has been involved with the winery since the first crush and has been involved in may aspects of the winery over the years including developing and managing the Dearly Fermented Wine Club. WinesThe main focus of O•S Winery is to create wines of good value and expressive of the terroir and varietal from which they came. We focus on low impact winemaking to allow the grapes to express their full flavor, then blend them to create well balanced, food friendly, complex wines pleasing in their youth yet possessing the structure and balance to reward cellaring.O•S Winery has three tiers of product: our premium Bordeaux-style reds, BSH and R3; our varietals, presented under the Sonas brand; and second label wines including "Red" red table wine. We have consistently created highly rated wines across each of product tiers with our second label products, often appearing on various "Best Buy" lists.WinemakerScott Greer of Sheridan Vineyard has been growing grapes and making wine since 1996. We have had the pleasure of working with Scott since 2001 providing us with amazing fruit for many of our critically acclaimed wines. Over the past three years we have been expanding our relationship with Scott to include a greater role in the development of our wines, culminating in our 2013 vintage where Scott has been responsible for the product from vine to bottle. Scott's passion and commitment for crafting world-class wines grows stronger with each vintage. He understands the importance of the unique site known as Sheridan and with many critically acclaimed wines to his name we are proud to be in collaboration with Scott in creating the unique wines of O•S Winery.
