BURO is a regionally based organisation for voluntary children and youth organisations in Oslo. In addition to being a resource for our organisations, BURO runs three youth projects, The Youth Information Centre, Youth Participation and The Minority Project with alltogether 12 employees.The most important task is to ensure good economical and administrative conditions for the democratic and cultural work within the member organisations aswell as assisting them in practical matters. BURO strive to influence the political and administrative municipal system in Oslo in matters that concern one ore more of our member organisations.BURO is a politically and religiously neutral organisation. Oslo Youth Information Centre also commonly referred to as UngInfo was established in 1992 to address the growing need among young people for relevant information that's responds to their issues. UngInfo therefore strives to ensure that the information provided is complete, reliable,accurate and understandable to enable young people make informed decisions. This information is given free of charge and offered in an informal and conducive environment that endears to the youth.
