We believe that through first-hand experiences, people can develop a more intimate understanding of the problems that climate change brings. Our programs cover topics like coastal rehabilitation, youth education and development, habitat restoration, and more. Together, we can leave a better world for the people of tomorrow than what was left for us.Our Better Places prides itself with connecting participants to local communities and the outdoors. Trips are conducted during spring, summer, and winter break for the duration of one week. Other dates can be arranged for single travelers. A minimum of five students is required for a trip to take place. Volunteers pay an all-inclusive program fee that covers lodging, meals, training, staff, and in-country transportations.
