There's nothing like seeing a young person emerge from poverty, go to college, and return home as a true leader. That's what Outsmart Poverty was set up to do — equip young men and women to become leaders who can influence their own families, communities and nations to create positive change. Through the provision of our donors young men and women are studying in their own countries to get an undergraduate degree and developing and enhancing leadership skills and abilities, all while promoting and modeling world citizenship. Each student must meet the following requirements: •Contributed significantly in secondary school, church, and community •Maintained outstanding academic performance, along with extracurricular activities •Was endorsed and recommended by both school and church/other organization •Contributed to school and community needs •Graduated from secondary school
