Oxus International uses social research as a basis for creating new and original content for use by communities, governments, NGOs and private industry. We believe social research, while often revealing useful information, is often put to poor use by generating dense reports used only by other academics. Oxus International sees an opportunity to expand the audience of such work by creating compelling products using various media. These outputs can be combined with traditional research reports to create content that serves both the communities being studied and institutions such as government, business or academia. We integrate several inexpensive and widely-available tools in media, communication, geography, economics, and the social sciences to better understand and address community issues.
