Paramount Youth Theatre Details
Paramount Youth Theatre consists of two distinct parts, the Youth Theatre Company & Paramount Performing Arts. The essential aspects of all our activities are "enjoyment" "confidence building" and "fulfillment".The Youth Theatre Company runs for 3 terms September - July & offers musical theatre performance experience & training for young people aged 7 - 18. The Company produces two musical theatre performances during the year; one is a major performance which is staged at a professional theatre, usually in July, the second is a 'showcase' performance held at a local venue, usually in December. Paramount Performing Arts offers classes for young people aged 4 - 16 on Saturday mornings during term time. The classes are split into age ranges & run for 2 hours during which the company's team of professional Directors, Choreographers, Musical Teachers and Actors will teach a range of skills and techniques in small, concentrated groups. The pupils will learn a variety of musical theatre skills; to include; drama, dance/movement, musical adaptation and singing.
