The overall goal of this initiative is to support women and young girls with the necessary skills to become successful entrepreneurs leveraging information technology and business. Most importantly we seek to address the lingering challenge of women and young girls living in extreme poverty in Nigeria.Based on strong feedback and research, it is apparent that the gender gap in entrepreneurship, education, employment and most importantly technology compounds the issue which has left a number of women in Nigeria living in extreme poverty.However, the "Partnership for Africa Women Advancement, PAWA" as mentioned above seek to address these challenges by creating innovative ways and providing the requisite support in equipping and providing support to women and young girls through business and information technology development. This initiative also supports a number of the sustainable development goals of equality SDG5, no poverty SDG1, Decent work and economic growth SDG8 and partnership for goals SDG17.
