At the very core of it all, what we do is make introductions. We introduce software engineering talent to hiring companies.Candidates choose Passive because we know the market. We've done our fair share of user-research and surveyed thousands of engineers to understand their preferences when looking for a new job.There is no cost to be represented as a Passive candidate. The clients we work with agree to pay a placement fee equal to 15% of the candidate's starting year salary. We believe in transparent, upfront fees, and we offer equal fees for all of our clients.When we pitch candidates to prospective hiring managers, we always do so anonymously. We understand that for candidates, there is an implied contract with recruiting agencies regarding how their personal information should be handled and we endeavor to earn their trust and only share resumes when candidates explicitly express interest in our clients.
