PeerPraxis provides customized teaching methods that facilitate the learning of English as a Second Language (ESL) as well as preparation for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) civic exam and naturalization interview.Informed by cognitive neuroscience and learning theory, at PeerPraxis we are mindful that there are multiple ways of knowing. Thus, our instructors focus on designing individualized study programs to meet the learning needs of each student. PeerPraxis offers a free first session for identifying each student's learning needs and objectives. This way, our instructors develop together with the student a personalized study plan and optimize the interactive digital channels and educational resources for the instruction.Building on our rigorous academic formation and successful professional experience as adult educators, experts in English language instruction, and digital content creators, Karina Lafuente and Fabian Freire founded PeerPraxis to offer specialized English courses for adult and young learners, as well as translation and notary services. Through these offerings, we contribute to the economic and social betterment of the immigrant population in the United States.
