Mission:Pennies for Education and Health (PEH) works towards helping to transform the lives of children and their families primarily in the developing world who lack adequate education and health care. It provides means for educating needy and deserving children through a donor sponsorship program.PEH also provides for their health care needs through the efficient and effective distribution and provision of donated medical supplies and other resources. Our program extends to all people, regardless of faith, gender, or ethnicity.Driven by faith and in partnership with people like you, PEH enables these children to realize their potential by tackling the root causes of poverty.Education:Pennies for Education and Health seek to match children in need with sponsors.Generous donations provide the children with supplies and other education-related needs. Children from elementary to college-level students are beneficiaries of sponsorship.Vocational Education Training:PEH has now expanded its educational program to sponsor vocational education and skills training program for young adults, primarily focusing on young mothers. It has started a sewing training center where women are trained to become seamstresses and then we provide them with a sewing machine. This helps the women supplement the family's household income and hopefully over time will alleviate them from poverty.
