Founded in 2002 by maestro and percussionist Ricardo Bologna, the Percorso Ensemble is an independent artist collective founded from the desire of its members to promote new compositions, 20th century and contemporary repertoires and crossover concerts, inspired by popular music and jazz. Moreover, it works in dialogue with other artistic languages such as dance, theater, cinema and visual arts. Redefined recently in many ways, the collective improved its artistic core, redefining how it interacts with its audience, as well the orchestral music place in São Paulo's culture, establishing itself as an ensemble concerned not only with nowadays' music, but also with the future of music.
