Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement offers dance instruction for all ages in a supportive non-competitive environment. Classes include Classical Ballet (Royal Academy of Dance), Creative Movement, Contemporary and Modern Dance, Music & Movement and Early Dance for young children, Hip Hop, Character (National Folk) Dance, Pilates and more. Pia Bouman School is located in the west end of Toronto at 6 Noble Street near Queen and Dufferin. The school has three sunny dance studios with sprung floors, a large lobby and a fully equipped studio theatre.All students are given the opportunity to perform at the annual Let's Dance Festival, held in the Scotiabank Studio Theatre. Student may also audition for Nutcracker, held at a larger outside venue. The Studio Theatre also hosts performances by many Toronto dance and theatre groups. YMI Dancing is Pia Bouman School's youth company. The company works with well-known choreographers and performs show at the Scotiabank Studio Theatre, and also at schools and public events such as Nuit Blanche.Pia Bouman School for Ballet and Creative Movement is a non-profit registered charity
