Well first things first, why "Ping"? When creating our name we wanted to come up with something fun and a little bit different which still reflected the objectives of our business. We got to thinking that policy and planning work is a little bit like a sonar transmitter. A "ping" being the pulse of sound sent out to receive reflections or echos in order to communicate or create a picture to navigate with. Of course in policy work and planning we rarely get back an exact echo or reflection, but we thought the name ping also represents the ability to change tact or direction in order to make good decisions in partnership with the community.Ping is a small business, set up with the aim of being agile, reliable and with the ability to get on and get the job done. With increasing legislative requirements from Central Government there always seems to be policies in the queue to develop and review. Many of these are sitting at the bottom of the to do list while staff get on with other priorities. Here's where Ping comes in. We have experience in a wide range of policy development including: District Plan Changes LGA Policies Bylaw review and development Reserve Management Planning Structure Planning Environmental Education Monitoring Submission developmentSo if you need any of these ticked off your to do list reliably, efficiently and at a competitive rate then please get in touch.
