Planet Rise was founded in 2019 in response to the growing climate crisis and the 1 billion people on the poverty line who will be most affected. The aim is to make the world a better place for our kids future, by investing in and supporting organisations tackling Climate Change and Poverty. The current companies we support include: 1. VFlow – new battery tech that replaces diesel generators & lead acid/Lithium Ion issues (CO2 emissions, low lifetime, fire & disposal issues). CLEAN ENERGY4. SOLShare - Microgrid solar power peer2peer trading in Bangladesh. CLEAN ENERGY5. uHoo - Air Health platform to reduce deaths, improve wellbeing & enable safe return to healthy buildings. CLEAN AIR6. Turtle Tree Labs - Cell based clean milk to remove dairy industry environmental & animal welfare impact. FOOD7. Lumitics - reducing food waste and CO2 emissions globally using AI. FOOD8. Capture - Track, reduce & remove carbon emissions for enterprises. CO2 REDUCTION9. IIX - enabling women led social enterprises & communities in Asia. POVERTY10. Sama - helping migrant workers (and their families) get a fair deal. POVERTY11. ZuBlu - conserving marine biodiversity through sustainable tourism.
