Platform 5 Architects was founded in 2006 and is an award-winning architectural practice led by Patrick Michell and Peter Allen with a diverse portfolio of projects in the residential, commercial, educational and community sectors. The practice was identified by global design magazine Wallpaper* in 2009 as one of the world's thirty most talented architectural practices, and has developed a reputation for exceptional design quality and high levels of service and support offered to clients. Platform 5's portfolio includes a suite of exquisite and critically-acclaimed residential projects, together with a series of larger projects across a range of sectors. Current projects include a carefully-designed and sensitive mixed-use scheme for a landmark site in a London conservation area, a temporary cafe structure on the edge of Trafalgar Square in the heart of the capital, and a successful and extremely cost-effective £3 million refurbishment of a large 1930s college building.
