WHO WE ARE:Play It Forward NY is an organization dedicated to advancing the cause of bullying. At Play It Forward NY, we engage with teens and children, striving to create an environment that is free of judgement and bias. Children and teens can openly and confidentially share their experiences and allow us to work with them to provide better solutions to overcome bullying and harassment, while leading a proactive and healthy lifestyle.We preach the importance of developing empathy and understanding that in most cases, there is a story behind the bully. Through empathy, children/teens can turn the tables on the bully and demonstrate through first-hand experience, how it feels to be picked on and harassed and the pain that is involved.It is our goal to build confidence by encouraging children/teens to become active via clubs, sports teams, and in their community.
