The "Pocono Turf Association" started in 1936 by founding member George Patterson. The word "Grass" was added in 1960 and as times have progressed we are the Pocono Chapter GCSAA. Leading excellence in Golf Turf Management in Northeast Pennsylvania. We represent stewardship in golf as we preserve the history of many storied courses in the area. Our member courses have hosted Presidents, Celebrities, and National Tournament Events. Members of the Pocono Association are "Golf Turf Professionals". Leading by example and mentoring future industry professionals. Our mission is to preserve the environment, our history, and grow the great game of "Golf"!,
