Our mission is to co-create a forum with scholars and students to celebrate languages; especially those that have faced or continue to face colonisation or cultural imposition, while also discussing the challenges these linguistic communities face, and how we can actively address these challenges.We employ a participatory approach in spreading the message of this initiative, engaging students, scholars, professionals or amateurs alike at UBC: using media such as workshops, film-screenings, panel discussions, open mic nights, our blog and original online content on our social media platforms
