Mental Health Care - Singapore, , Singapore
Have you ever felt like you were in a place you didn't deserve? Do you feel that you're just lucky in life?We feel the same way. In fact, 74% of Singaporean workers relate to these sentiments. Imposter Syndrome is the feeling of inadequacy that exists despite evident success. Commonly thought to affect working professionals and women, youths are often the neglected demographic when talking about Imposter Syndrome. Many students believe that they always have to be perfect; We should not commit any mistakes and seek external help when accomplishing goals. Any mistake or received support makes us believe that we are undeserving of praise or our achievements. Ironically, negative feedback is perceived to be proof that we are in fact, not good enough. Imposter Syndrome is a lonely affliction. But it doesn't have to be that way.Our project aims to redefine Imposter Syndrome amongst Singaporean Students. Our campaign aspires to be a one-stop awareness campaign that targets Upper Secondary to University students suffering from Imposter Syndrome and students who are curious to find out more. We share tips and advices for you to get out of the campaign, and information for education. Through sharing of personal stories via different mediums, we aim to normalise sharing of insecurities online and to build a community of students who finds comfort in knowing that we are not alone in this.We welcome you to join our community and share your story. Share your moments of insecurity and self-doubt behind your successes. Submit your stories through videos or anonymous submissions to be featured on our campaign. We want to learn more from you through email (hello@projectthereal.me) or through sliding into our DMs (https://linktr.ee/Projecttherealme)!
