Project Write2Them is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to make Mail Call the best part of recruit's day by allowing familiy and friends to send emails to those loved ones at basic training. During basic training recruits do not have access to smart phones, social media or computers. Project Write2Them provides the convenience and security of sending an email when a person cannot receive email or other electronic communications and must receive a printed letter. With Project Write2Them, you simply send an email and your loved one receives a letter. Since 2010, Project Write2Them has provided families of military recruits, aging parents and relatives, church missionaries and the incarcerated with an easy, cost-effective way to stay connected by blending both high-tech (email) and low tech (mail delivered through the postal system) solution. Project Write2Them services all basic training locations: Lackland Air Force Base, Ft. Benning, Ft. Leonard Wood, Ft. Jackson, Ft. Sill, Great Lakes Naval Training Center, MCRD Parris Island, MCRD San Diego. Project Write2Them also provides service to the military academies: West Point, US Naval Academy, US Coast Guard Academy, US. Merchant Marine Academy and the US Air Force Academy. We also provide service to the Officer Candidate School locations across the country.
