What we do We develop products, services and training to help individuals at any location stay safe during man-made or natural disasters. Founded by veterans of the meeting planning industry, we strive to make in-room safety amenities and hospitality safety training a new industry standard. At PAL we've created a line of in-room safety kits, instructional videos and training for the hospitality industry to address the needs of travelers while away from home. PAL products are also ideal for tour directors, schools, businesses, airports, convention centers and other areas where people would typically be disadvantaged without the proper equipment in times of emergency. What is a PAL Kit? The PAL Kit is a line of prepackaged safety kits offered by Protection At Location (PAL) and is designed to keep travelers safe while away from home. The kit includes essentials one would need to stay safe during a disaster/emergency, in one convenient package. Also known as the Purple PAL, PAL Kit tm items are packaged in a distinctive purple helmet. Because of its color, the helmet is used to quickly identify those in need of assistance to professional first responders arriving on the scene. The PAL Kit tm is small enough to be stored on a shelf, in a drawer or in a closet where it is readily accessible, allowing individuals to feel more secure, but not overwhelmed, by their presence. On-site Training PAL also works with participating hotels and businesses to offer community emergency response training (CERT) a FEMA recognized program that educates staff in areas of disaster preparedness, First Aid, disaster psychology, light search and rescue and more. CPR and AED training is also offered. This training offers lifelong skills and provides the priceless gift of safety. Giving Back PAL is deeply committed to promoting emergency preparedness training worldwide. A portion of all PAL proceeds is returned to local, regional or national CERT programs.
