The PSIS International is the largest organization of security professionals and practitioners in the Philippines. Its members provide protection to the people, property, information and assets of various private and public organizations.The general membership of PSIS is also comprised of security administrators and management specialists who formulate security policies and programs for companies, institutions and organizations such as, among others, banks, aerospace facilities, communication networks, hotels, and educational institutions, hospital, shopping malls and countless other domestic and foreign corporations and business institutions.Since its founding as a professional membership society on December 17, 1982 PSIS has continued to grow in number and played a pivotal role in advancing professionalism in the field of security. The society's national network is organized at local and regional levels.PSIS conducts the Certified Security Professional (CSP) Program for the advancement of the industrial security profession. All candidates for CSP accreditation must meet educational and experience requirement and must pass a written examination.
