We here at psymplified have built a platform where we can share psychological information with everyone in a way that can be easily understood. Our goal is to share research with everyone to show that scientific data shouldn't just be for the scientists and professionals. We want people to know that many of us share similar thoughts and feelings, and that we are more alike than we think. We want to do this by answering the questions you have about the people around you and about yourself. All our answers are backed up by scientific research, so you know we aren't just making things up.Formed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, our goal was to create something good and positive despite the global crisis. We wanted to show the world that no one is alone in this, and that many of us humans share the same thoughts and feelings. But how?As a bunch of (mostly) Psychology students, we realised that we could use the skills we had developed at university—understanding, interpreting and conveying the theories and statistics found in psychological research. With this, we can bring scientific information to everyone in a way that can be easily understood. We want to tackle the interesting questions, especially ones you can relate to. By answering these questions using research to back us up, we can share our knowledge with the world and show that scientific data isn't just for the professionals.
