Vadim Puyandaev has over 30 years of experience working as a painter, sculptor, and designer.Creating Art:« Fine lines, scratches layered over contrasting chunky brushstrokes, and daubs of light unearth figures, suggestions of life in the dappled world of the painting. » (from Puyandaev's art statement)Vadim Puyandaev is an established painter based in the US who has exhibited his work internationally. His work is influenced by the Lyrical Abstraction of Kandinsky, Suprematism of Malevich, and Fauvism of Matisse. He consequently employs families of colors and different values to create a unified, powerfully constructed, bold color-induced mood. His body of work is made up of non-narrative expressive paintings that evoke powerful emotional responses.Developing design:When Puyandaev develops design ideas for public places and private houses, he relies on the "visual ecology" of the space as a guide in order to create visual comfort and ensure client happiness. His art and design strives to enliven the environment in an organic way without disrupting the natural harmony of the physical space. Puyandaev has produced numerous pieces of monumental and public art in the US and Israel. Live Art Practice:Vadim Puyandaev (visual artist/performer) has been participating in multimedia performances/installations since 1994. With Tsimbrovsky, he is a founding member of the creative groups of artists EVM Laboratories (Israel) and Avy K Productions (US), dedicated to investigating what emerges in performance at the nexus of different genres. He has been awarded by SOMArts, Stanford Arts Initiative, Zellerbach Family Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Tourism in Israel, Salon des Leopards (Saint-Tropez, France) and is the recipient of the Grande Medaille Republique Francaise at the Festival Palmares des Blues en Peitute, France.
