With 31 Bed and Breakfast rooms, a private Race Mountain House rental, inspiring retreat spaces, excellent dining at Stagecoach Tavern and countless outdoor activities, Race Brook Lodge is the perfect escape in the Northeast. The property features an 18th century farmstead, with a signature blend of eclectic artwork, hand-hewn beams and wide plank floors. To enhance peace and tranquility, rooms are phone and tv free. ACTIVITIES At Race Brook Lodge you'll be surrounded by nature's abundance. Kayak in the Taconic basin, bird watch amid the foliage, or hike and cycle trails with the most amazing vistas. For wintersports, cross-country and downhill ski, with ski packages available all winter! We offer your group a place to gather and be inspired. THE FARM The Farm at Race Brook Lodge is our newest project. In the spring of 2012 we began to grow our own fresh, organic vegetables for The Stagecoach Tavern and our in-house event catering. The farm is also a venue for education programs in organic agriculture, permaculture design and ecological sustainability.
