Here at Rainbow Audio Games, we are devoted to creating fantastic learning games for young children. We are proud to be able to provide learning games that are not just fun but also games that aid the development of children from a very early age. Rainbow Audio Games was founded by Nathan Arrowsmith in 2014 while studying on an Audio Engineering & Production BSc Degree at University. He was tasked with researching new and innovative ideas for his course and this was the point where he came up with his first 'Learning Audio Game' prototype. Dawn Arrowsmith, his mother fortunately ran a successful pre-school and had been doing so since 1985. This was really the inspiration for his research as he would regularly attend and help at the pre-school.Getting a glimpse into the way the children would learn new words, animals, environmental subjects and so on gave him an idea! Visual, Kinesthetic and of course Auditory are the three common learning styles. One way of learning would certainly not provide an enriching experience for every child as every child is different. This troubled Nathan and motivated him to find a solution to this problem. He sat down with his mother and the other staff members at the pre-school and asked them questions about the children, the early years framework among other subjects. It was then, that Nathan designed his first prototype of the games you can find here on Rainbow Audio Games. It was merely a simple CD with a few sounds on. Sounds that the children would recognise and be able to relate to. With the fantastic help from the staff members of Pied-Piper pre-school, Nathan was able to find the faults with his prototype, why certain children were not learning and developing as others were. So it was back to the drawing board.Incorporating all three learning styles into one easy learning game was the answer. How Nathan got this was by creating visual stimulants that could also be touched and held. This therefore covered Visual and Kinesthetic learning styles. Tweaking the parameters of the visuals and the sounds and creating it into a package that nurseries, pre-schools and parents could use at home were some of the final stages.Transforming what was a simple idea into a product is why Rainbow Audio Games is one of it's kind. A vast amount of time was spent with test nurseries, developing the best method and ways the game could be purchased, obtained and then played. At the same time, Nathan made it very clear that this product should offer a premium feel but without the price tag some might expect.Rainbow Audio games is a very young company but with the motivation, research and passion. Creating a game that is not only fun but educationally beneficial is our main target and so far we have been able to help develop children's observational, attention and speaking skills. Expect to see some more exciting products arriving to Rainbow Audio Games very soon, as we pride ourselves on constantly improving our products and range.
