Raise Glasgow is a feel-good movement encouraging students to celebrate the post-exam period by making the world a better place. Students donate an amount significant to them to the Against Malaria Foundation, which is then doubled through our match-funding. At the end of the academic year, we come together as a community at a Summer Party to celebrate our collective impact. In one year alone, we've attracted the support of approximately 90 students and raised over £9,000, helping to protect over 11,000 people from malaria. We work alongside Cambridge's May Week Initiative which has done so much good work over the past three years. Collectively, the Raise movement has been able to protect over 300,000 people from malaria with the help of donations from over 1,200 students across the UK.
