Re-Instate is a registered charity that enhances the lives of people experiencing mental distress, or with a learning disability, through an innovative range of supported employment and learning services. This includes: - The Employment Service - Re-Instate works hard to support people to retain, find and prepare for work. Based at the heart of the local Business Community at the Thames Innovation Centre, the service supports every individual to reach their working potential. Specifically, this includes Job retention, job search, enhancing interview technique, mobility training, work placements and taster days, supported volunteering opportunities and access to relevant courses. Re-Instate has strong links to a wide variety of local Business Partners to match the right person up with the right opportunity. = The Social Enterprise - Offering a practical work experience in a commercial environment as a stepping stone to open employment. Whilst with the Social Enterprise, individuals develop work and social skills, helping them to regain lost confidence and self-esteem. - Learning and Development - Re-Instate runs a series on "skills for life" in-house courses in conjunction with the Bexley Learning Centre, covering Maths, English and IT. We also work closely with other local training partners to offer vocational training, including a recent BTEC in work skills, starting your own business and marketing. At Re-Instate, we passionately believe in the power of work to support good mental health and well-being, leading to independent living and wider benefits within the local community. Re-Instate work in partnership with Mind in Bexley and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust to provide mental health recovery and well-being services to the people of Bexley, commissioned by the Bexley Clinical Commissioning Group and supported by Bexley Council.
