Mission Statement: To celebrate, educate, and connect young BIWOC (Black, Indigenous, Women of Colour) ages 17- 24 We focus on centering and sharing the voices of those that are often marginalized. By working alongside individuals and organizations doing the groundwork, we hope to build a safe community that is built on the foundation of anti-racist and anti-bias practices and education. Celebrate: We celebrate by amplifying the voices and unique stories of individuals and organizations that are inspiring the movement towards inclusivity within our communities. Educate: We work alongside our community to create accessible educational resources and tools centered in anti-racist and anti-bias stances and practices. We focus on empowering young BIWOC in topics such as health and wellness, academic opportunities, professional growth, and social justice training and awareness.Connect: We work alongside individuals and organizations to develop events, workshops, online resources, and socials dedicated to connecting our community and welcoming safe and critical conversations. Our ValuesEmpathy: We value and understand the experiences and feelings of young BIWOC.Empowerment: We are determined to help inspire and educate BIWOC become confident in representing their true selves.
