WHO: We invite those who are directly involved with coral reef conservation in Puerto Rico, US and British Virgin Islands in the role of managers, practitioners, marine biologists, researchers or scientists to join our network. Reefconnect is a place to share regionally-relevant news, resources, and observations between people working on the management and protection of coral reefs in Puerto Rico, US and British Virgin Islands. The aim is to build greater connections across the three jurisdictions so that together, we can learn from each other and have greater success on the local level as well as regional-scale initiatives. People working on similar goals will be able to pool resources and take advantage of local opportunities together. Researchers, managers, community leaders, and supporters can collaborate to improve coral reef health by managing uses, reducing stresses to corals, and responding to threats together.
