Relivit was established to introduce a new type of recycling to Asia Pacific and the Middle East – for disposable nappies and continence aids.Known collectively as Absorbent Hygiene Waste (AHW), it's the largest component of household waste without a deployed recycling solution. To the rapidly growing aged care industry, it represents almost half of their total waste. It is ubiquitous, readily sourced, easily transported and consists almost entirely of useful materials.By providing an effective solution for this last putrescible waste, considerable opportunities are created to improve both the recycling rate and reduce the collection costs of the now dry residual waste stream.Relivit's facilities utilise the only large scale, commercial proven technology for AHW recycling, recovering plastics, fibre, super absorbent polymers and fertilisers in the process.Relivit is currently completing the funding for its Asia Pacific, full-scale demonstration facility, to be located in New South Wales, Australia. Relivit operates from offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
