Resource Recovery Gippsland is one of seven Victorian State Government Statutory Waste and Resource Recovery Groups established in Victoria on 1 August 2014, under the Environment Protection Act 1970 (the EP Act).The organisation is the link between state agencies, the six Gippsland councils (Bass Coast, Baw Baw, East Gippsland, Latrobe City, South Gippsland and Wellington), community, schools, business and industry across Gippsland.We are responsible for facilitating a coordinated approach to the planning and delivery of waste and resource recovery infrastructure and services for solid waste streams.Our approach is to work collaboratively and proactively with our stakeholders to deliver the best waste management and resource recovery outcomes for the Gippsland region in the most efficient and effective ways.
