The mission of Resources for Medical Education and Collaboration is to advance evidence based medicine and improve health care quality by supporting education and collaborative research, locally and globally, through the following initiatives: hosting medical education conferences, supporting research activities in clinical medicine, providing internship opportunities, bringing clinical health care and on-site medical education to the developing world. Founded in 2008 by Dr. Jim A. Youssef of Spine Colorado, Resources for Medical Education and Collaboration (RMEC) is located on the campus of Mercy Regional Medical Center in Durango, Colorado.RMEC has made plans to dissolve in the fall of 2012. Our two major programs are being transitioned to new organizations. Relevant contacts will be notified of these transitions upon finalization. Thank you for the great support over the years!
