The Rhetoric Undergraduate Journal (RUJ) is an interdisciplinary, peer-edited journal located at the University of California, Berkeley. Our focus is to publish the most exemplary undergraduate academic work, while also being the leading platform for critical inquiry, debate, and discourse. We seek to embrace various forms of thought, style, structure, and discourse. To remain as a source of critical reflection, we will refrain from becoming defined by any particular influences or ideologies. The development of the RUJ comes with one clear goal: to create an open journal that would foster critical inquiry, while simultaneously providing a space dedicated to meeting the needs of our diverse undergraduate student body. Concerned with various approaches to dialogue, the RUJ is a platform where students may produce works related to issues of interest through a critical, rhetorical lens.
